I have been on the fire dept. 5 yrs. I was lucky a few times to be in the area or passing through to go to some fire calls. In my area in NC, there is at least 1-2 people in each fire dept that cuts grass. In my dept. there is me-full time 1-part time and 2 others just do a few accounts on the side. It is good money but have to stick to it. Be careful cause you can get too many than it will over take the time for the fire dept. Least you can go to more calls & classes during winter time.
