I live in Hilo Hawaii with lots, and lots, and lots, of rain. Average 130 inches/year. I am starting to get a sour smell, swamp like, from the lawn soil. I have installed surface drains and all standing water runs off the property. Just soooo much rain that the soil stays moist. Any idea on soil or lawn amendments to add that will sweeten up the smell.
