Exmark, John Deere, Everride, Lesco, Scag, Redhawk, Toro, Walker, Bob-cat, Swisher?????
Which is by far, hands-down, the best commercial walkbehind mower manufacturer? Gear drive or Hydrostatic? What is the most productive/manuverable/easy to operate? Fixed deck of floating? Sulky or no sulky? I am in the market to buy the best walkbehind, I would buy a Honda if they made a commercial walkbehind, but instead I currently use Honda Harmonies and a John Deere rider. I need some insight. Thank you.

Really Prolawn their is no best walk behind, its all in what you like and feel everyone has their own favorite. Mine happens to be Troybilt and Toro, never had a breakdown with them. Just the regular maintance thing belts, tires, etc.
As far as walk behinds, which I use in my area very little because of the size of the lawns around here, in my opinon is John Deere. I know several people that are in the next city and do a lot of small lawns and all use them and say they are excellent. I have also had dealings with Skag and they are tough and stand up to a lot of punishment. But as for me I prefer Troybilt, but that me and what works for the lawns I have. |
