I like the smaller model 424 with honda moter.It pulls a great plug and is user freindly.The larger 530 pulls smaller plugs.IT has one extra tine and more weight but the weight bars are not over the spikes their on the side of the machine.I added 60 more pounds very little improvement.the gearing is a little fast even with governor setting it would rip out chunks of sod.I bought my 530 for 2700 and sold it new one year later for 1200.people pay for soil displacement the ground got hard no plugs were pulled.Ive owned many 424 and have ordered my next one for delivery march 1st.AERATING-THATCHING CO.
