Tommy,
From what I have seen, jonsered is one of the best. My mechanic works on all of them and he did a test with one stihl model and a jonsered. The jonsered out cut the stihl by leaps and bounds. Don't get me wrong, stihl is a good saw, but I would personally go with jonsered. Kevin

Stihl Ms210, its the replacment of the 021 and that was a great saw. Never had a problem with it for the past 8 years. Its the same engine that is in the ms200 which I also have and is a great saw as well. The ms210 has a little less power though, but has great balance and can be used all day if you need too.

Hi,
If you are looking for a really nice medium sized saw, consider a husqvarna Model 350 Chainsaw. 52cc 16-24" bars. It comes standard with an 18" and you can pick one up for about $300.-350. I have the utmost confidence in the husqvarna chain saws. I have 4 of them and they can handle anything you can throw at them. I have had them all fall out of trees (1 fell out of my belt at about 45feet) but the keep going and going and going!! The Echo C.S. 520 is also a good saw which is a bit more expensive than the husky but it is of equal size engine and can handle comparable sized bars!! Still I prefer Husqvarna over ANY OTHER chain saw out there!!! Hope this helps!! Joe J&R Landscaping |
