How do you estimate what to charge for leaf removal?

i was wondering the same thing and i'm thinking about charging per pound/bag collected. i was think this because two homeowners with the same size lawn could have different amounts of leaves depending on amount and size of trees, and how frenquent they want the leaves collected, so you can't charge based on square footage.
you can get bags in 30lbs or 50lbs, so i just need to figure out how much i should charge per bag/per pound. |

always always always time and dump fee. Never estimate on leaves you will get barried.

You should estimate how long it will take to rake the yard. Then charge them what your worth per hour. Then include the cost to haul it to the dump and the dump fees. I charge $35 a hour here in Florida. I have been told I am cheap? But I am happy with that amount for now. Hope that helps? Stefan
