Default Newbie here! lots of questions

Well tomm I cut my first yard with my buisness and I must say I am excited. I know it takes a few years to build up some clients but I am ready for the challenge. There is not a place that mows grass in prob a 30 mile radius of where I live so the potential for growth is great. I bought a 56 inch mower and I am ready to get started although I do have a few questions...

How do you calculate how much to charge someone?
How do you go about getting customers?
How many yards do I need to get a summer to make this a full time job?
How much more do you charge if they want the yard bagged?

Im sure I will have a ton more but thanks for you help. This is a great website. Did I mention I love cutting grass....lol....I guess we all do to be on this website. Anyway...thanks again and I hope we can all help each other make more money.

there have been many posts and discussions that should help you on your search about lawn care. the only question of yours maybe not directly answered elsewhere might be "How many yards do I need to get a summer to make this a full time job?"
*What's a "full time job"? talking hours or dollars? Do you want to save up money and not work in the winter? multiply the cost per lawn by the ammount of lawns and you have your income.
