Default "Around Tuit Lawn Care and Odd Jobs"

Hello Everyone,

I am new to lawn care. I retired last August from 30 years with the Post Office. Boy. am i glad to be away from there. I live in Taft, Tennessee but my work is in Huntsville, Alabama.

Jumped in whole hog and got a 16' trailer, 48" Toro ZTR. 36" Exmark walk behind (no sulky). Also have 21" push mower and 42' Murray riding mower, blowers and trimmers, shovels and rakes, and other misc. equipment.

As of today 4/10/05 I have 8 regular accounts and I am going to bid a new one tomorrow. All of my accounts have come from word of mouth. Hope to have about 20 regular accounts by May. Don't want to over extend myself as this is my first year and I am working alone.

Jerry,

Glad to have you in Lawn Forum. You have made a good choice with the equip you started with. 36" for the back gates, 48" for productivity. Being your own boss is such a great feeling. I look forward to your posts in the future.
