Default introducing myself

Hi name is Jay i run and operate JMJ lawn and landscape out of Monmouth & Ocean County NJ. Currently we have 11 employees including thyself 4 trucks 2 bobcat skid steers a caterpillar front end loader backhoe combo

1 1994 ford ranger xlt
1 1994 dodge ram
1 2003 ford f550 dump truck
1 1998 ford f250
1 1989 gmc topkick
1 king mini dump truck
Mowers are mostly bob cat and husqvarna and our trailers are haulmark 8x16 cubs

back packs are red devil echo trimmers
all trailers have work benches with grinders and spare blades and craftsmen toolboxes on board as well as a design area

Jobs are 50% commercial with mainly upkeep and rock retaining walls

Lawns are 45% residential and a privately owned golf course is my biggest account

My business was started back in 2001 when i was 17 i took my mom's mower and my mc donalds paycheck and bought equiptment i litterally started it out of my at the time ford ranger 1987 and bought a homemade trailer and a bigger mower. In january 2003 i graduated from kean university with an associates in agricultural studies and a minor in business. i kept my company open the whole time working in a machine shop and cutting grass on the side while accumulating clientelle. In march 2003 upon graduating i received a small business grant ($7500) and bought better equiptment and a backhoe. I interned as a grounds keeper at a local golf course and eventually partnered up with the owner and my brother to achive the status of jmj now jmj = Jayson Matthew Jerrald 2 years later and still going strong.

If i can give anyone advice here it's go legit nothing is scarier than hearing a noise and someone screaming at you. cuz the rock you didn't see scratched there siding (i know it happened to me 450 insurance payout to reside the house) or hurt they're dog. (second payout for poodle rock broke leg.)

thanks sorry for rambling jay
